Please note that the practice will be closed for Easter on Friday 30 March and Monday 2 April 2018. The practice will re-open on Tuesday as usual.  Should you need medical assistance you can call the practice telephone number for the Out Of Hours team.  Or alternatively telephone 111 who will be able to help.

Please only call 999 in a medical emergency

Care Navigation - coming soon!

Over the coming months you will notice your Receptionist asking you for a brief outline of your problem when you call to make an appointment, it’s not because they are nosey!  This new way of working is about offering you more choice and enabling you to see other Specialists outside the practice too.  This option will often be quicker and you may not need to see the GP each time.  The choice is always yours though and you will never be refused the option to book a GP appointment! For more information click here

Named Doctor for all Patients

Following Government (NHS) requirements -

All patients have now been allocated

a Named Doctor.

This doctor will be responsible and accountable for coordinating the overall care you receive at the practice.

We have always registered our patients with individual doctors, but patients can see any GP within the practice. This will continue –

the doctor you see does not

have to be your Named Doctor.

Your Named Doctor may not be available at all times, so sometimes your care will be overseen by another GP on duty; especially at short notice or if your needs are urgent.

We will inform you of your Named Doctor at the first appropriate interaction with the practice. If you wish to know who your Named Doctor is, please ask at reception – please don’t phone the practice for this information.

If a patient expresses a preference for the GP they have been assigned, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request.
