Noticeboard

On Friday 3 March we will be trialling a new telephone system.

If you call the surgery and the lines are busy you will receive a message telling you where you are in the queue, you can then make the decision to either call back later or continue hold.  As soon as a Receptionist is free they will take your call.

We are going to see how this works for patients and staff for a three month period and then review this system at the end of May.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Repeat Prescriptions

blue_pills.jpgPatients on regular medication can obtain repeat prescriptions from the surgery, once they have been authorised by a doctor.

Whenever possible, repeat prescriptions should be ordered by completing the slip attached to the right side of your previous prescription. This should then be sent or handed in to the surgery.

You can request a repeat prescription by letter, or by telephoning the surgery after 11:00 only.

Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. New users to the system are required to complete a simple registration.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
