IMPORTANT NOTICE:  NHS England have received reports today of a possible scam.

Some women are being contacted by text message, claiming to be from the call and recall service to advise they are overdue for screening. The message asks them to call a mobile number and provide personal details.

These messages are not from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme.

The Action Fraud Line has been contacted.

We are keen to support patients with longer term diseases or conditions, such as:district_nurse.jpg

With most of these conditions, you will be offered a review with a nurse (and, where appropriate, a doctor) at least once a year. This review aims to ensure you are receiving the most appropriate treatment for you and gives you the chance to discuss any issues with the nurse or doctor.

The review is normally offered within a few weeks of your birthday; please feel free to contact a practice nurse if you think you are due for a review and haven’t heard from us.

Family Planning & Contraception

The practice offers a full range of advice and provision of contraceptives, including longer acting reversible contraceptives, such as implants (‘Nexplanon’), IUCDs (intra-uterine contraceptive devices), Mirena coils and Depo Provera injections.

Please make an appointment to discuss with the family planning practice nurse or a doctor.
