Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms
Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:
a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
a new, continuous cough – this means you've started coughing repeatedly
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home.
Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you're staying at home.
Formore information see https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
The way appointments are being carried out at the Devonshire Green & Hanover Medical Centre will change from Monday 16th March. Appointments will mostly be conducted over the phone or possibly via a video link for patients with a phone with internet access. Patients should NOT attend the surgery to arrange appointments, make general enquiries or to queue outside before our opening times.
Instead please ring and speak to a member of the reception team. If we feel it is necessary for you to see a clinician face to face then we will organise an appropriate appointment.
If you already have an appointment booked with us, we may be contacting you to ask you not to come to the Surgery and we will provide you with alternative advice and guidance. Please ensure we have up to date contact details.
These measures are necessary to protect our most vulnerable patients and staff to ensure that our service can continue to function during the months ahead.

Welcome to Devonshire Green & Hanover Medical Centres
We value all our patients highly, and will try our hardest to provide the best care for you we possibly can - if you think things could or should be better - please let us know - we take all comments and feedback seriously.
We serve a very diverse and complex practice population, and we look forward to helping you whatever your background or health needs.
Currently restricted resources do limit our appointment availability for pre-bookable appointments at present - we're really sorry about this, and are trying hard to negotiate for more resources. We are however, able to arrange to see a patient the same morning at our drop-in surgery for acute problems, also if it is deemed appropriate, you may be offered an appointment at one of four GP access centres across Sheffield 6pm-10pm weekdays, and 10am-6pm weekends, for more information click here.
Did you know that if you are registered for online access to appointments and you find that you no longer need your appointment that you can cancel appointments online? Even if you didn't make the appointment online!
If you would like to sign up for online access ask at Reception or click here to access our form and hand it in to Reception.
Do you want to join our Patient Participation Group?? for more information click here to download our invite.
