Patients on regular medication can obtain repeat prescriptions from our surgery, once they have been authorised by a doctor.

Please note that all telephone calls with the practice are recorded for training or monitoring purposes.

If you choose to order your prescription by telephone please dial our usual surgery no. and choose OPTION 1.  We now have a prescription line where you can leave a message. Please remember to state your name, date of birth and the name of the medication you require.

Please allow two full working days (Monday - Friday) for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays in to acount.

This then frees up that appointment for someone else who needs it.

Here is a guide to help you register for the NHS APP online how to get started with NHS APP

If you are experiencing issue with NHS APP since practice migration try uninstalling your NHS App on your mobile device and reinstall it, if this still doesn't work contact the surgery for account name and linkage key and try again.  If you still experience issues  click here.  Any further issues contact NHS App technical support

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to discuss this with a doctor, practice nurse, or pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications - notifications should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Electronic Prescribing Service

Our practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.

This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen pharmacy directly saving you having to come down to our surgery.

To get your prescription sent to your chosen pharmacy you will have to ask reception to sign up.
